Tammy Tran - President
Tammy Tran is a current CIRM intern at UCSF having recently receiving her Masters degree from San Francisco State University. She has been involved in the VSA space since 2018 and has taken many leadership roles at her alma mater University of the Pacific. She is serving her third year on Executive Board and is excited to incorporate her knowledge to bettering the upcoming year. In her free time she loves to crochet and watch movies.

Moeen Chaudhry - Internal Vice President
Moeen Chaudhry is the Internal Vice President of NorCal UVSA, and Alumni from the University of California, Merced. At his alma mater, he served as an Intercollegiate Council Representative from 2023-2024 and held the ICC Chair position within the council. While he joined VSA to spend time with friends, he has grown heavily attached to the NorCal community and hopes to give back to them. Moeen is also a cat dad to a small kitten named Emilia.

Justin Vo - External Vice President
Justin Vo is the External Vice President of NorCal UVSA and a recent graduate from San Jose State University with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Asian American Studies and Chemistry. Previously, Justin served as the External VP (‘22-’24) for SJSU. He is currently heavily involved in the NorCal and UNAVSA spaces.
In his professional life, Justin serves as a staff member for the Vietnamese American Roundtable giving back to the community that raised him into the person he is today.

Richard Dao - Treasurer
Richard is Treasurer of the United Vietnamese Student Associations of Northern California and the current Director of IT and Finance. He started his involvement with the organization as an Intercollegiate Council Representative for his alma mater, University of California, Santa Cruz.
He currently works as a Software Engineer at Covenant Systems Worldwide and is looking to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Kelly Nguyen - Secretary
Kelly is a fourth year undergraduate student at University of the Pacific who is currently pursuing a B.S in Biological Sciences for her future career of dentistry. Her VSA journey stemmed as early as her freshman year in high school, combining both her love for art creatives and her culture.
In her free time, she loves doing graphic design, playing badminton and collecting keychains to add to her collection.

Christopher Nguyen
Chris is the current CORR of NorCal UVSA and a recent graduate from the University of California Merced. He has previously been involved as a part of Events cabinet staff as well as historian at UCM. While Chris is participating in NorCal UVSA activities, he enjoys spending time with friends from the NorCal space, collecting Pokemon cards, and eating as much as possible.
He is currently working toward becoming a clinical lab scientist.
